Isaah Yeo has built a reputation as one of the NRL’s most respected leaders, but behind the Penrith Panthers co-captain is a woman who has quietly anchored his life through every premiership and milestone. Ashleigh Yeo isn’t just the wife of a rugby league star. She’s a mother of three, a podcast guest, and the partner who makes it all work.
From a romantic proposal in the Swiss Alps to a wedding that had the NRL world talking, the story of Isaah and Ashleigh Yeo is one of long-term commitment, family, and the kind of partnership that thrives away from the spotlight.
Who Is Ashleigh Yeo?
Ashleigh Yeo, born Ashleigh Camenzuli, is the wife of Penrith Panthers co-captain Isaah Yeo. The couple have been together for years, building a life and family together long before they officially tied the knot.
She is a mother of three and, according to a 2026 podcast appearance, has begun sharing her experiences as a busy parent and partner of an NRL star. The episode was titled “She’s not a WAG, she’s Ashleigh Yeo,” signaling her desire to be seen as more than just a footballer’s wife.
The Switzerland Proposal and the Long Engagement
Isaah Yeo proposed to Ashleigh during a holiday in Switzerland in late 2022. The couple had traveled to Europe with their eldest daughter, Haven, visiting Paris and Switzerland during the NRL off-season.
What followed was an extended engagement of roughly three years. During that time, the couple welcomed two more children, with Ashleigh supporting Isaah through some of the most demanding seasons of his career.
The Wedding That Stopped the NRL World
In November 2025, Isaah and Ashleigh Yeo finally married in a ceremony on the NSW south coast. The NRL community flooded social media with congratulations, and the photos stunned fans.
Ashleigh wore a white off-the-shoulder, floor-length gown for the celebration. The couple shared images from their wedding at the popular Fig Tree estate in Byron Bay, surrounded by their three young children: Haven, Lennox, and Tatum.
The timing was notable. Isaah had just completed another grueling NRL season as Penrith’s co-captain, and the wedding marked a rare moment of celebration away from the football field.
A Family Built Through Football’s Demands
Isaah and Ashleigh’s family grew in parallel with his football career, and their story includes moments that reveal just how much Ashleigh has managed behind the scenes.
Their first child, daughter Haven Autumn Yeo, was born on November 23, 2021. Isaah shared the news on Instagram, writing: “Ash was amazing and they are both doing well. We didn’t think we could love someone so much”.
Their second child, son Lennox Gerard Yeo, arrived in April 2023. The birth was dramatic for a different reason: Isaah returned to Penrith training just four hours after Lennox was born. Ashleigh had gone into labour at 6:30am, gave birth by 8:20am, and Isaah was at the Panthers Academy for a 1pm leadership meeting before a field session that evening.
Teammates told him to go back to the hospital. Isaah figured there was little he could do with Haven staying at her grandparents’ house, and he wanted to “brag to all the boys”. It was a moment that said as much about Ashleigh’s independence and capability as it did about Isaah’s commitment to his team.
Their third child, Tatum, was announced in March 2024, with Isaah posting “Baby no.3 coming August ❤️”. Ashleigh shared her own announcement, joking: “Another mini for Haven to boss around”.
More Than a WAG
The 2026 podcast appearance was a deliberate move to reframe how Ashleigh is perceived. The title, “She’s not a WAG, she’s Ashleigh Yeo,” suggested she wanted to share her own story, not just her husband’s.
It’s a distinction that matters. While Isaah has become one of the NRL’s most decorated players, Ashleigh has been managing a household of five, supporting a partner through the pressures of professional sport, and carving out her own identity in the process.
The Yeo Family Today
Isaah Yeo, born November 6, 1994, in Dubbo, is the son of former North Sydney Bears and Balmain Tigers player Justin Yeo. Football runs in the family, but so does a strong sense of grounding.
The couple’s three children, Haven, Lennox, and Tatum, are at the center of their world. And as Isaah continues his career with the Panthers, Ashleigh remains the constant at home, the partner who has been there since before the premierships, before the captaincy, and before the wedding photos that made the NRL world stop and take notice.
