Pac Family: What We Know About Wife Natalie Satterley and Parents!

Pac Family: What We Know About Wife Natalie Satterley and Parents!

The wrestling world is mourning the loss of Benjamin Satterley, the man fans knew as Pac, and as tributes pour in from every corner of the industry, attention has quietly turned to the family he leaves behind. Satterley, who died at 40 just hours after competing at AEW All Out, is survived by his wife Natalie Satterley, along with his parents Jill Satterley and Stephen Satterley.

For a performer who spent two decades in the brightest spotlights professional wrestling has to offer, Satterley kept his home life remarkably shielded from public view. That privacy is now being respected even in death, with neither AEW nor the Satterley family having released funeral arrangements or further details about his passing.

Here is what we know about the Pac family, and the people who knew the man behind “The Bastard” persona best.

Who Is Natalie Satterley?

Natalie Satterley is the wife of Benjamin Satterley and, by all accounts, the anchor of his life away from the ring. The couple married and built a life together largely outside the public eye, a deliberate choice that stands out in an era when wrestling personalities often share every detail of their personal lives on social media.

Throughout his career, Satterley rarely discussed his marriage in interviews. He kept Natalie away from the cameras, avoided posting about her on his platforms, and generally treated his relationship as something sacred rather than content. Those who followed his career closely understood that this boundary was intentional. For a man whose on-screen character was abrasive, violent, and unapologetically ruthless, his off-screen devotion to family painted a very different picture.

Natalie has not issued a public statement since her husband’s death was announced. Given how fiercely the couple protected their privacy, that silence is entirely in keeping with how they lived.

His Parents: Jill and Stephen Satterley

Benjamin Satterley was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, and raised by his parents Jill Satterley and Stephen Satterley. Public information about his mother and father is limited, and that appears to be exactly how the family wanted it.

What is known is that Satterley carried a deep pride in his Geordie roots throughout his career. Newcastle shaped him, and he never shied away from reminding audiences where he came from. In a business where performers are often rebranded, repackaged, and stripped of their origins, Satterley held onto his.

His parents watched their son rise from the British independent circuit to WWE, then reinvent himself in AEW as one of the promotion’s foundational stars. That journey spanned more than two decades, from a 16-year-old rookie grinding out matches in front of small crowds to a main-event performer on international pay-per-view.

A Family Kept Out of the Spotlight

The Satterley family’s approach to fame stands in sharp contrast to the modern wrestling landscape. Many performers today build their brands around their families, sharing milestones, struggles, and daily life with millions of followers. Satterley chose the opposite path.

He referenced his wife occasionally in interviews but never made her part of his storylines. He spoke about Newcastle with warmth but kept his parents out of the narrative. The result is that fans knew “Pac” intimately while knowing Benjamin Satterley only at a distance.

That separation may now complicate the grieving process for those who admired him. There is very little public record of the man behind the character, which means there is very little to hold onto beyond the matches he left behind.

AEW’s Statement and Industry Reaction

All Elite Wrestling announced Satterley’s death in a statement that praised him as one of the promotion’s defining performers.

“All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka PAC,” the company said. “Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”

The promotion noted that Satterley participated in “some of the most memorable matches in AEW history” and held multiple championships during his seven-year run, including the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Championship and three AEW World Trios Championships, the latter alongside Death Triangle partners Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fénix.

Tributes from colleagues followed quickly. Paul Heyman called him “a tremendous talent and even finer human being.” Will Ospreay, who shared the ring with Satterley many times, wrote that he was “the greatest export from our country” and “also the greatest human being.” Rhea Ripley simply said: “What a tragic day. What an extremely talented person. Speechless.”

A Career Defined by Reinvention

Satterley’s professional journey began in 2004, when he was just 16 years old. He competed across Europe, Japan, and North America before WWE signed him in 2012. Under the ring name Adrian Neville, he became one of NXT’s brightest stars, earning the nickname “The Man That Gravity Forgot” for his breathtaking aerial offense.

His WWE tenure produced the NXT Championship, two NXT Tag Team Championships, and two WWE Cruiserweight Championships. After leaving the company in 2018, he signed with AEW in 2019 as one of its first major acquisitions and adopted the “Pac” persona, a harder, more physical character built around his Brutalizer submission hold.

At the time of his death, he was a member of the Death Riders faction led by Jon Moxley.

What Happens Next

No funeral arrangements have been shared. No cause of death has been released. The Satterley family has asked for nothing publicly, and given how carefully they guarded their privacy during his life, that is unlikely to change.

What remains is the work. Twenty-two years of matches, championships, and moments that made fans believe gravity was optional. For Natalie, Jill, and Stephen Satterley, the loss is immeasurable. For everyone else, the legacy is what is left.

Benjamin Satterley spent his career making the impossible look effortless. The people who loved him most will now have to carry on without him, largely out of view, just as they always did.
