One moment, Jaida Parker was a fresh-faced NXT call-up asking for directions to Adam Pearce’s office. The next, she was running over Jacob Fatu with a Maserati and declaring “ain’t nobody safe.”
The September 28, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw ended with one of the most shocking heel turns of the year. And the woman at the center of it just happens to be romantically linked to the man standing on the opposite side of the war.
So why did Jaida Parker join 946? The answer is less about romance and more about business. WWE didn’t put her with Royce Keys’ faction because she’s dating Jey Uso. They did it because it’s the fastest way to make her a star.
The Moment It Happened
The Bloodline spent the entire night searching for 946. When a black SUV pulled into the arena, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, and Jacob Fatu rushed out expecting a fight. Instead, Jaida Parker stepped out.
She said she was there to see General Manager Adam Pearce. She and Jey locked eyes for a beat. Then she walked away.
Hours later, the brawl between Bloodline and 946 spilled into the parking lot. Keys tried to escape. Fatu chased him. Then a second car came out of nowhere and hit Fatu.
Parker stepped out, pretending to be horrified. “I didn’t see him,” she said. Then her face changed. “Ain’t nobody safe.”
She got in the car with Keys and drove off. Her allegiance was clear.
Reason 1: WWE Wants to Push Jaida to the Main Roster
This is the simplest and most obvious explanation. Jaida Parker spent years in NXT building her reputation. She was ready for the main roster. But WWE didn’t want her debut to be forgettable.
Placing her directly into the Bloodline versus 946 feud accomplishes several things at once. It puts her on television immediately. It gives her a clear character. And it establishes her as a threat from day one.
A generic call-up with a midcard match wouldn’t have done that. Running over Jacob Fatu with a car did.
Reason 2: 946 Needed a Female Member
Since Royce Keys introduced 946 on Raw, the faction has been a boys’ club. Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price had no female presence. Meanwhile, The Bloodline has been the same way, though Naomi has been rumored for a return.
Adding Parker to 946 does two things. It gives the faction a new dimension. And it forces The Bloodline to respond with a female member of their own, which is where Naomi’s return becomes relevant.
WWE has been building toward a Bloodline versus 946 showdown, possibly at WarGames. Parker’s inclusion sets the stage for that match to include women without needing to build a separate feud.
Reason 3: To Expand the 946 Faction
WWE has been pushing 946 hard since their debut. They’ve attacked security, abducted Solo Sikoa, and made The Bloodline look vulnerable. A faction war needs numbers on both sides.
Parker joining gives 946 a fourth member and a new dynamic. She’s not just a female addition. She’s a former ally of OTM’s Bronco Nima and Lucien Price from their NXT days, which gives the group a built-in history.
That detail matters. It makes her alignment feel earned rather than random.
Reason 4: The Mastermind Theory
This is the most speculative reason, but it’s also the most interesting. Some fans believe Jey Uso is the real mastermind behind 946.
Think about it. Jey has been positioned as the emotional heart of The Bloodline. He’s the one who talks about family. He’s the one who cried when Solo was taken. If he’s secretly orchestrating everything, that’s a massive twist.
Parker joining 946 would be the first piece of that puzzle. His real-life girlfriend is now embedded with his on-screen enemies. If Jey is the mole, he needed someone on the inside. Parker would be that someone.
This is pure speculation at this point. But WWE has planted seeds like this before, and the payoff would be enormous.
The Real-Life Wrinkle WWE Is Ignoring
Dave Meltzer confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE deliberately played into Jey and Parker’s real-life relationship during their face-to-face moment. Jey’s reaction was genuine. The locked eyes were intentional.
But Meltzer also said he doesn’t expect WWE to address the relationship in storylines going forward. They gave fans who know a wink. They won’t make it canon.
That makes sense. Jey is still technically married, though his wife Takecia filed for divorce in June 2026. Turning his real-life girlfriend into an on-screen love interest while his divorce plays out in court would be messy. WWE is smarter than that.
The Bottom Line
Jaida Parker joined 946 for one reason: it’s the best possible way to launch her main roster career.
She gets a memorable debut. She gets a major feud. She gets placed opposite the biggest storyline in WWE. And she gets to do it all while standing next to her real-life boyfriend’s on-screen enemies.
The fact that she’s dating Jey Uso makes the whole thing juicier. But it’s not why WWE did it. They did it because Jaida Parker is ready to be a star, and there’s no faster way to become one than to run over a Samoan Werewolf on your first night.
