Yes, Anne Hathaway is pregnant. The Oscar-winning actress is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, and she confirmed the news in June 2026 with a playful Instagram video captioned, “x Baby, I’m yours x.”
Since then, Hathaway has turned her pregnancy into a red-carpet moment, most recently at the Verity world premiere in New York City on September 29. The 43-year-old actress skipped the London premiere last week due to her pregnancy, making her New York appearance all the more anticipated.

At the AMC Lincoln Square 13 premiere, Hathaway cradled her baby bump in a custom black lace mermaid gown from Prabal Gurung’s atelier collection. The look featured a sheer, glittering tulle cape and floral embroidery, styled by Erin Walsh. She finished the ensemble with a diamond bracelet, teardrop earrings, and her brunette hair in a half-up, half-down high ponytail.
She described the pregnancy as a “buzzer-beater” in a previous interview, revealing that she and Shulman had kept expectations low given her age. “There’s always hope until there’s not, but when you get to a certain age, that hope looks like 1 per cent to 2 per cent,” she said. She called the pregnancy a “blessing” they “do not take for granted.”

What to Expect from ‘Verity’
Based on Hoover’s bestselling 2018 psychological thriller, Verity follows Lowen Ashleigh, a down-on-her-luck writer hired by Jeremy Crawford (Hartnett) to finish the book series his wife Verity can no longer write after a mysterious accident. Once Lowen moves into the Crawfords’ opulent estate, she discovers an unfinished manuscript that threatens to expose dark secrets about Verity and her husband’s past.
Verity opens exclusively in theaters on October 2.
